Five years ago Katie & Jordan were set up by mutual friends. Both were invited to their mutual friend's home for dinner- what started out as a "pass the rolls" ended up the beginning of a friendship and ultimately a deep love.
On a beautiful day in August they married at the beautiful venue of Navarra Gardens in Willamina. Surrounded by friends and family they vowed to love one another through all of life's joys and sorrows, to be the other's strength when they are weak, and to remember the reasons they were celebrating on that beautiful day.
Katie says she loves most about Jordan is his ability to be her true team-mate; and his smile with his dimples. Jordan loves Katie's eyes, smile, and the way they have a partnership and work together on everything.
Jordan got ready in the groom's room and was assisted by his son and friend. I loved Jordan's personal touch with his socks. It's always fun to see a groom stray from the traditional black socks and incorporate some of their personality into their attire.
Katie's girls assisted her in getting ready. Katie's hair and makeup were done by Alison Mora, a hair/makeup artist based in Salem, Oregon. The pretty lilac colors complimented the gardens of Navarra so well. All of the beautiful hydrangeas were blooming and absolutely gorgeous.
The ceremony was held in one of the many places on the Navarra grounds. It had the perfect feel to it matching their vision exactly to what they wanted. I overheard several guests talking about how beautiful it was and they couldn't have imagined it anywhere else.
The couple's portraits were in front of the blue hydrangeas, surrounded by the purple flowers near the gazebo, and in front of the small fountain/pond area.
First dances consisted of Jordan and Katie dancing and not long into the song they invited their children into the dances.
The cake was delicious and the cake topper so cute. The topper was made by their eldest daughter out of a giant clothespin. It was so creative!!
