A wonderful couple who married outside of the barn on a gorgeous July day. Many of Brian & Aleesha's friends and family were present as they said their vows and then celebrated afterwards.
Aleesha got ready at a Holiday Inn about five miles from the actual Stein Boozier Barn. She was accompanied by her bridesmaids and mother. The hotel's indoor pool made a perfect backdrop for showcasing the bridesmaid and bride dresses.
I absolutely LOVED Aleesha's shoes and how she personalized them for her wedding. The turquoise "I do" on the back of them really made them stand out and was a unique idea for incorporating her "something blue" into her wedding day.
After she got her makeup done, Aleesha had her mom and sisters help her get into her dress. Her dress was purchased at Charlotte's Weddings in Portland and it suited Aleesha perfectly. The mermaid flair was absolutely gorgeous on her.
After getting ready it seemed the day really went quickly. The ladies drove to the venue in style, via a limo, and I followed. Last minute details were put up for decor, tables were being finished, and the snack and sweets table was being filled with lots of goodies.
The ceremony was held right outside of the barn and they were surrounded by several friends and family.
Family formals and bridal party formals are always a fun part of the wedding.
Time to eat, drink, and be merry. The couple was introduced and guests were excused by table to get their meal. After the dinner, cake cutting. Aleesha and Brian were so cute. They cut the cake and instead of smashing it into one another's faces, they dabbed it on one another's noses. Shortly after cutting the cake I took Aleesha & Brian out for their couple's portraits. They wanted just a few of them together on their wedding day. We spent about 25 minutes while their guests finished eating. Father-daughter dances, bouquet, and garter tosses all before opening up the reception to everyone.
